One year later: AP minidoc marks COVID-19 anniversary

, by Patrick Maks

The Associated Press has released a minidocumentary marking the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film features gripping AP video and photographs that illustrate the pandemic’s toll. AP news leaders from around the world narrate the piece, describing how COVID-19 has caused the deaths of millions, ruined economies, disrupted lives and exacerbated preexisting social and racial inequality.

The minidocumentary was produced by AP Productions, a division of The Associated Press that develops a variety of media projects in the form of original short films, documentaries, mini-series, podcasts and books.
